Leisure Trip to Sikkim and Darjeeling 10 Nights 11 Days

As you will arrive at Siliguri, our representative will be waiting for you to transfer you to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). On your journey to Gangtok (5,500 Feet), you will be passing through rolling tea plantations up and down the hill. (if time permits). Evening free for roaming M.G. Marg (own). 

Optional: River rafting can be done at MALLI if interested on a direct basis. (Own)

Dig into early morning breakfast and go for a sightseeing tour. As per your itinerary, today you will be visiting Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Center, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls.

In the morning, we will drive to Lachen (9,400 ft., 118 km). On the way, we will visit the seven sister waterfalls. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant on the way (not included in the package). Check-in at the hotel in the late afternoon.  

Today morning, we will drive towards Gurudongmar Lake (17,000ft). Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest situated lakes in north Sikkim. The altitude here is may cause breathing problem so be careful. Later return back to the hotel and leave for Lachung.

After breakfast in the morning, we will proceed to Yumthang valley which is also known as the valley of flowers (11800 ft. / 3598 Mts / 25 Kms / 1 ½ hours one way).Later return back to hotel & leave for Gangtok. 

Kickstart your day with a hearty meal as today is going to be a fun day. According to your pre-decided schedule, you will be visiting Tsomgo Lake (12,400 Feet), a high-altitude lake that is sacred to both Hindus and Buddhist. After spending a few minutes at the lake, you will visit the Baba Mandir (13,200 Feet).

After Early Breakfast Transfer to Pelling, via ravangla buddha park which is the largest park in sikkim .Pelling is a small town in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim, at the foothills of Mount Khangchendzonga. The late-17th-century Buddhist Sanga Choling Monastery has mountain views. Pemayangtse Monastery features wall paintings, sculptures and a gold-plated statue of Guru Padsambhava. Overlooking a valley, the 17th-century Rabdentse Palace, now in ruins, still has evidence of the king’s bedroom and kitchen.

After breakfast at hotel – Drive for Full Day Sightseeing of Pelling and its surroundings - The routes are forested and the botanical and zoological richness is inspiring - Places of visit are Rimbi water Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Khecheopalri  Lake, it is one of the holy Buddhist lake and it is believed that any wish in front of the lake comes true - Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird and thus the water surface is always free of Leaves Khecheopalri Monastery, Kanchenjunga WaterFalls,Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse ruins, Pelling skywalk, the scenic view from the top of the ruin to the mystic heights of Kanchendzonga ranges is something to be cherished.

After breakfast in the morning, transferred to Darjeeling. Darjeeling is a town in India's West

Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. It's famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks.

Early in the morning, we will leave for Tiger Hill to witness the sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga. Return to the hotel and en-route visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Darjeeling is a town in India's West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills.
