Explore the misty landscapes of Cherrapunji and trek to Nongriat’s living root bridges, concluding at Wei Sawdong Waterfall for a memorable end. This itinerary combines wildlife, cultural experiences, and scenic beauty for a perfect Northeast escape.
Daywise Itinerary
On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of “One Horned Rhinoceros”,
Check in at your hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Early morning explores any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of Elephant. Apart from the Rhino, other species found
are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky then tiger also. It is also home to pelicans, storks and
darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. Return to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon enjoy jeep
safari through the National Park. Return to the hotel.
Received at Airport/Railway station & headed for Shillong. On outskirt of shillong halt at the Borapani Umiam Lake, a tranquil lake
surrounded - by sylvan hills. You can enjoy boating and take a stroll on the beautiful lake.
After early breakfast starts full-day excursion to jowai, headquarters of the jaintia hills district is situated 66 km away from
Shillong, along the shillong-silchar national highway. A picturesque town circled by the majestic myntdu river. jowai was the
summer capital of the jaintia kings, of sutnga state. You will visit India’s most magical waterfall - krangsuri, Meghalaya. A
moment of silence to acknowledge how beautiful this waterfall is! Later drive to tryshi waterfalls, a bridge connects the
waterfall's surroundings with an expanse of green paddy fields. A breath taking panoramic view of the pynthor nein is visible
from the bridge. next you will stop at thadlaskein lake where you can enjoy boating. afternoon proceed to the nartiang menhir
measure 27 feet in height above the ground, 6 feet in breadth and 2 feet 6 inches in thickness. The monoliths represent the
megalithic culture of the hynniewtrep people. A 500 years old temple of durga is another attraction at nartiang. Evening back to
Shillong
Post breakfast explore Mawlyynong, visit Living root bridge and Mawlynnong Village Asia's cleanest village. The residents literally
farm on the edges of these mist-shrouded cliffs that plunge sharply into the valley, later drive to Dawki, visit Umngot river &
Boating popular for clean water, and local sightseeing at Dawki. Also, visit the Bangladesh border.
Early morning head to Tyrna village, a ½ hr drive away from Cherrapunji. From there it will take a relaxed 1.5 hr walk down to
the Nongriat Village and then a 2hr walk up to reach double decker root bridge. The path to the double-decker root bridge is
3Kilometers long and has around 3,500 stairs, and descends 2,400 feet. Another 1 hour of trek approx. 3 km from double decker
bridge to visit beautiful and scenic Rainbow falls. Post activity trek back to Tyrna village and later drive to Cherapunj
Post breakfast in the morning; hit the road to Cherrapunjee, the heaviest rainfall destination in the world Cherrapunjee
possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves. At Cherrapunjee visit Nohkalikai falls, being the world’s fourth
tallest waterfall, visit Eco park, Seven Sister falls and Mawsmai cave And also visit Wei sawdong Water fall. Evening back to
Cherrapunjee.
Today after breakfast according to your schedule you will transfer to Shillong. On outskirt of Shillong halt at the Barapani Umiam
Lake, a tranquil lake surrounded - by sylvan hills. You can enjoy boating and take a stroll on the beautiful lake. Then visit
Elephanta Falls, Shillong Peak, WardsLake, Don Bosco Museum, Lady Hydari Park.
Today after breakfast according to your schedule you will Head towards Guwahati & visit Kamakhya Temple, Tirupati Balaji
Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Assam State Museum, State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Regional Science Centre and Sukreswar
Temple (The 6th Jyotirlinga of Shiva). Afternoon we suggest an optional tour of Golden sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra (Direct
Payment by own).
Post breakfast drive to Guwahati & drop at Airport / Railway Station as per schedule.

Policies
For all services contracted, 50% advance payment should be made to hold/confirm the booking.
Rest 50% of the amount can be paid a day before or day of the arrival but definitely before the commencement of the
services.
Team triplrrr hold the right to decide on the amount to be paid as advance payment based on the nature of service &
time left for the commencement of the service.
Besides above, in certain cases like hotels or resort bookings during the peak season (Christmas /New Year) or during
fairs/festivals, full payment may be required in order to hold space on confirmed basis. Please note that such payments
